In a small bowl put your broccoli, drizzle with oil and add seasonings, mix until covered. Save for laterChicken
Preheat oven to 400°. Lightly coat a 15x10x1-in. baking pan with cooking spray. Or use parchment paper for easy clean up.
In a shallow bowl, whisk egg. In a separate shallow bowl, stir together the Panko bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder. With one designated wet hand, dip chicken breast in egg; allow excess to drip off. Drop in crumb mixture with the wet hand, and use your other hand to pile on more crumb mixture, patting to help coating adhere. Repeat with remaining chicken, using one hand for wet and one for dry so you don't end up with a hand covered in bread crumbs. Place chicken breasts on your pan so they are not touching. Add bite sized seasoned broccoli florets to remaining empty space on pan.Spritz with cooking spray.
Bake 20 minutes. Remove from oven.
Preheat broiler. (Broil starts automatically at 500°) Spread marinara sauce over chicken, just enough to cover the top, not overflow. Top with shredded cheese. Broil chicken and broccoli 5 min, until cheese is golden brown and vegetables are tender(hopefully the veggies are tender.). Sprinkle with fresh minced basil and let rest for 10 minutes
Check if veggies are fork tender, if no, plate your chicken elsewhere and stick the broccoli back in the oven while your chicken rests.
