Bacon Fried Brussels Sprouts
  1. Place a wide pan on the stove on medium high heat. Add bacon to pan while it is still cold. This will give the fat in the bacon time to melt out and it shouldn't be popping all over the place. When bacon is good and crispy, remove from pan and put on a paper towel lined plate to drain.

  2. Keep bacon fat in pan. Add brussels sprouts to pan. Let them fry in the bacon fat for about 10 minutes, stirring now and then. For softer sprouts, add a splash of water and cover with lid and let steam for a few minutes.

  3. Once the sprouts are done, add the block of boursin cheese to the pan. Cut the heat off and stir until cheese is melted.

  4. Add bacon back to pan and stir.
