  1. Sauté onions until light brown and add whole spices. Deglaze

  2. Add ginger and garlic (2 min) Add ground beef and cook, break and change color and dry out

  3. Add the tomato, green chili pepper, ground spices, salt, and yogurt - sauté until oil separates Add the potatoes and ¼ cup water and stir

  4. Lower the heat to low-medium. Cover, and allow it to cook for 23-25 minutes (depending on the thickness of potato cubes), stirring once in between.

  5. If needed, dry out water and add garam masala and cilantro
