
Heat 1 cup of water or green tea until warm (not boiling).
Pour 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar into the warm liquid.
Squeeze in the juice of ½ a lemon and stir well.
Add 1 teaspoon of grated or juiced ginger.
Mix in ¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper and ½ teaspoon of cinnamon powder.
If desired, stir in 1 teaspoon of chia seeds and let the mixture sit for 5–10 minutes.
Stir well and drink on an empty stomach in the morning or 30 minutes before meals.
