Pot Roast
  1. Season the roast with salt and pepper

  2. Make slits in the roast and stuff with garlic

  3. Heat oil and sear the roast on all sides

  4. Set the roast aside

  5. Sauté the onions and celery

  6. Add garlic and tomato paste

  7. Add flour and mix for a couple minutes

  8. Deglaze the pan with red wine

  9. Add the roast back to the pot

  10. Add potatoes, carrots, and beef broth

  11. Season with granulated garlic, granulated onion, paprika, creole seasoning

  12. Add thyme, rosemary, and bay leaves

  13. Bring to a simmer, cover and bake at 325°F for 3.5-4 hours

  14. Remove herbs

  15. Serve over rice and garnish with parsley
