Heat ½ teaspoon olive oil in a skillet. Brown Italian sausage, then set aside.
In the same skillet, sautéed onion, peppers, and garlic for three minutes.
Add white wine, simmer till almost evaporated to intensify flavours.
Mix in diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes to blend the flavours and thicken.
Return sausage to skillet, add parsley. Cook, combining for five more minutes.
Keep warm on low. Cook noodles as instructed.
Drain noodles, add to skillet. Toss for even coating.
Adjust spiciness of the dish by varying the amount of red pepper flakes added.
