Slice all fresh fruit. Fresh strawberries and bananas works well. Any fruits will work well.
Melt 2 Tbsp butter on Le Creuset Ceramic Skillet to low-medium ((about level 4 on large element) ) and spread evenly.
Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon in a shallow dish wide enough to dip bread.
Dip bread into mixture ((but do not submerge, only put as much batter on the bread as enough to completely cover the face) ) and place on the greased hot Le Creuset Ceramic Skillet.
Cook with often rotating the bread to ensure an even lightly-browned cooking on each side. About 4 minutes on first side, and 2 minutes on second side. If you're busy prepping other items, after the first side, turn the temperature down to 2 or 3 to make sure second side doesn't burn.
Prepare the plates with sliced fruit, cream cheese, optional cashew.
When lightly-browned, remove and plate.
((Optional)) For creamy texture: top immediately with cream cheese, and optional drizzle of honey ((I didn't use honey when I made it since we had lots of fruit))
Enjoy the calm of the children contently chewing their French toast.
