In a large bowl combine ground chuck, lawry’s seasoning, and black pepper (DON'T OVERMIX IT).
Grease a 9x13 baking dish and press the seasoned ground chuck into the baking dish, making sure it is in an even layer. Bake it in the oven at 350°F for 20 minutes.
Slice open your hawaiian rolls. Grease a separate 9x13 baking dish and add in the bottom half of the buns. Once the meat patty is done, scoop it up with two spatulas and let the excess grease drip off. Then, add it on top of the bitton buns and use a paper towel to blot the top of the meat patty to remove excess grease. Add the slices of american cheese over the meat and transfer it back in the oven at 350°F for about 5 minutes or until the cheese is melty.
While that's in the oven combine the ketchup and mayo. Spread that sauce evenly over the top buns and set it aside. Once the cheese is melty, remove the baking dish from the oven, and evenly sprinkle on the chopped onion, tomato, lettuce, and pickles. Top that with the top buns sauce side down and brush melted butter over the top of the buns. Lastly, garnish with some sesame seeds.
Bake in the oven at 350°F for 6 - 8 minutes or until golden. Serve & enjoy!
