For the patties/steaks:
Mix the ground beef, salt, black pepper, creole seasoning, garlic and herb seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, milk, and bread crumbs until well combined.
Form the mixture into 4-6 oval patties.
For the gravy:
In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the chopped onion and sliced mushrooms and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add the minced garlic and chopped thyme and cook for 1 minute.
Stir in the tomato paste and flour and cook for 2 minutes.
Gradually whisk in the beef broth and bring to a simmer.
Season the gravy with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to taste.
Add the patties to the gravy and simmer for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway, until the patties are cooked through.
