Salisbury Steak
  1. For the patties/steaks:

  2. Mix the ground beef, salt, black pepper, creole seasoning, garlic and herb seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, milk, and bread crumbs until well combined.

  3. Form the mixture into 4-6 oval patties.

  4. For the gravy:

  5. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

  6. Add the chopped onion and sliced mushrooms and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.

  7. Add the minced garlic and chopped thyme and cook for 1 minute.

  8. Stir in the tomato paste and flour and cook for 2 minutes.

  9. Gradually whisk in the beef broth and bring to a simmer.

  10. Season the gravy with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to taste.

  11. Add the patties to the gravy and simmer for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway, until the patties are cooked through.
