Sear Pork Roast In a large skillet heat oil over medium-high heat. Brown pork roast on all sides.
Add Ingredients to Slow Cooker In a 3 ⅓- to 4-qt. slow cooker, place the pepperoncini brine. Place the roast in the slow cooker. Sprinkle roast with the ranch dressing mix and onion soup mix. Top with butter. Place pepperoncini peppers on and around the roast.
Shred and Serve Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours or on high for 4 to 5 hours. Shred the pork with two forks.
