Preheat oven to 350F.
Cream together butter, cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy (3-4 minutes).
Beat in egg and vanilla.
On low, mix in flour and salt.
With a large cookie scoop, place onto baking sheet lined with parchment paper leaving at least an inch between each cookie.
Cookies will spread slightly.
Bake for 16-18 minutes.
Let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to cooling rack to cool completely.
Dip tops of cookies in icing (optional) and enjoy!
