  1. Soak your lentils for a few hours or overnight, or for about 20 minutes if you boil the soaking water.

  2. Rinse, and place in a blender with the 720 g of water. Add seasonings.

  3. Blend. I like to leave a little texture, but you can go smooth if preferred.

  4. Pour into a pan and cook until thick (about 5 minutes).

  5. Pour into a mold, I just use a glass dish, and refrigerate until set. *I like to leave it overnight, but depending on depth of mold, a couple hours is usually enough.

  6. Slice and fry in a pan in a little oil. It's crispy and delicious with mashed potatoes, a grain, or in a sandwich. Or on a salad. I love this stuff. You can also bake or air fry in barbecue or your favorite sauce.
