Loco Moco
  1. Start by finely dicing one onion and thinly slicing the other. Set aside and work on your ground beef. Add it to a bowl along with the diced onion and egg. Season with a salt pepper garlic blend, soy sauce, Worcestershire and then add some breadcrumbs.

  2. Form the beef into burger patties and add to a pan on medium high heat for 3-5mins until there is a nice crust and then flip and do the same on the other side. Once there is a crust flip the patty every 2mins until the internal temp reaches your desired doneness. While they cook thinly slice the mushrooms.

  3. Remove patties and add in the mushrooms and onions. Cook for 8-10mins on medium high seasoning with some soy sauce. Once softened add in the flour and mix to cook the floor through. Pour in the broth a little at a time and season with some salt, pepper and Worcestershire. Continue to cook on medium until it reaches a gravy like consistency. (5-8mins).

  4. Serve the patty on a bed of furikake topped rice. Then spoon over a generous amount of your mushroom onion gravy. Top with a fried egg and some dried chives. Enjoy!
