Cream Of Chicken Soup
  1. Fry chicken breasts,remove and set aside till cooled then shred or chop into small pieces

  2. Fry onion gently for 3-4 mins

  3. Add crushed garlic

  4. Add carrots

  5. Add boiling water and stock cubes, stir until dissolved

  6. Simmer gently for 15-20 mns

  7. In a bowl add cornflour and stir in some milk till it's smooth

  8. Add the remaining milk and sour cream, mix well

  9. Add mix to stock stirring till blended

  10. Add shredded chicken

  11. Simmer gently for a further 5-10 mns,stirring continuously until thickened

  12. Add salt,pepper and chives and stir

  13. Serve with crusty bread if desired
