  1. Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl

  2. Combine the liquid ingredients

  3. Before mixing both together in a batter, dip fish in some of the reserved dry mixture just to lightly coat each side

  4. Place coated fish on a plate

  5. Then make batter, by mixing both wet and dry mixtures well

  6. Dip fish in batter to coat well

  7. Carefully drop pieces into hot deep oil, fry just a few pieces at a time not crowding fish when frying

  8. Turn each side once until golden brown.

  9. Place pieces on absorbent toweling paper to drain

  10. Serve immediately
