Season the Boston Butt roast with salt pepper and garlic powder.
Add the Butt roast into the crock pot.
Add the contents of the au jus packet & the ranch seasoning packet over the Boston Butt roast. Then, scatter the pepperoncinis in the crock pot around the roast; and add in a few tbsp. of the juice from the jar, as well.
Then, top the roast with 6 tbsp. of butter cut into little chunks.
Set the crock pot on low and cook for at least 6 hours.
Serve over mashed potatoes and use the crock pot drippings to serve over the potatoes ad the roast! SO GOOD! MAKE IT!
