Authentic Cuban Black Beans
  1. Wash and rinse dried beans.

  2. Pressure cook all the ingredients above for 35 min.

  3. In a separate pan, sauté onion and bell pepper until soften.

  4. Add in your spices and garlic. Mix until fragrant.

  5. Incorporate the sofrito into your softened/cooked beans.

  6. Now add in tomato sauce, vinegar and sugar.

  7. Set pressure cooker to sauté and simmer on low for 15-20 or until your desired thickness.
