  1. Add water to pan.

  2. Spoon the dry ingredients into the measuring cup filling it to overflowing. Do not press or shake down. Level by sweeping off the excess with a knife.

  3. Add water.

  4. Add dry ingredients (except for yeast) to the pan.

  5. Add butter to one side of the pan on top of the dry ingredients.

  6. Make a depression in the dry ingredients and sprinkle yeast into it. Make sure the yeast does not touch any liquid ingredients.

  7. Insert the baking pan into the unit and close the lid.

  8. Plug the bread maker in.

  9. Select Basic Wheat setting.
