Good! A little light on flavor, and there definitely didn’t need to be that much liquid. Decreasing the amount of water and cranking up the other flavorful ingredients for next time!
I should have reserved half the sauce for serving! Having a thick reduced blackberry basil sauce would have been the perfect addition, because just marinating and cooking it was a little light on flavor. But at least the flavor was good! Will make again!
Tried it with actual chopped cooked chicken (not canned), and it’s great! Used fresh baked chicken and so it wasn’t cold chicken salad… which probably would have tasted a bit better!
