It was perfect. Not crispy cause we didn't fry it and I used parchment paper so it didn't sear to the metal, but delicious and so tender and moist. Perfect amount of sauce. We broiled for 5 min. The broccoli was not done. Definitely gonna change the directions on that, needs longer than 15 min to lose the crunch. We used Rao's spicy marinara and fresh mozz that I shredded.
So the three pounds of meat I used were bison, venison, and lamb, cause for whatever reason I had them in my freezer, you can use cheaper meats like, turkey, cow, n something else. It should be a combo vs all one type. But it was delicious and even though it took like two hours, it was worth it.
I should have used a shallower dish because it didn't get very crispy but it's still delicious, I also used a fair bit more Ceylon cinnamon in both parts of the recipe cause I love cinnamon.
