Every year in this home we celebrate the life and career of #42 Jackie Robinson. The man who broke the colour barrier in MLB. That day lands April 15 of 2025 when all players on the field will wear the #42 on their jersey, Regardless of which team you play for, it is an honour for all those players. I can’t think of a better way than a ball park dog, a bag of peanuts, a bowl of Cracker Jacks, and a bottle of suds. My wife calls these Crack Jacks. You’ll understand why if you try. The video is cool as well, Play Ball !!!

The Pepper Geeks have gifted us this beauty. Reminiscent of a chowder, and truly with a roux it could be. This creamy satisfying soup is legitimate. Now I alway like to mess around so Mexican Oregano and a few red pepper flakes were my wild cards. Man did that gamble pay off. I served it up with some crunch, ie corn tortilla rounds, and some DICED up cherry tomatoes. You could roll the bones in a lot of different directions and still, the cards will BE IN YOUR FLAVOUR. Enjoy this Ace, all you Kings and Queens. Tip of the 🎩 and Cheers from a 🃏.

Everyone complains about Mom’s Meatloaf, until your hungry and mom is not around. Students… build it, cook it, eat it. It literally takes 10 minutes to prepare. A taste of home, you can serve it with anything. And leftovers make great sandwiches. It may be boring, but it sure dose the job. Enjoy

You can’t go wrong with anything Marinara in this house. This is a great filling in my opinion. A very simple basic one. I had shells in my pantry, but I did use the soaking method mentioned and it helped. I paired them up with some meatballs that are listed in my profile. The wife really enjoyed the meal and at the end of the day, cleanup was minimal. Enjoy

Fantastic is the perfect word. Natasha from Salt & Lavender sets you up with a perfect week night meal. She uses Chops, I had a tenderloin in the freezer so I substituted. You could use a different group of herbs and seasonings if you want to. I did wander through her website, and she has a nice selection of simple to make meals. Boiled or mash, rice or polenta. I would even pair this up with some pasta. Enjoy if you try.
